I understand and agree to the following: A) $10.00 electricity fee is a non-refundable fee and must be received by August 12, 2008. B) There will be no refund for no-shows or cancellations. C) NO REFUNDS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR A RAIN OUT.

2008 Vendor Application

Vendor Space

Vendors will be provided individual spaces measuring 10' X 10', 10' X 20', or pull trailer size. Anyone requiring space in excess of this (including hitches, awnings, accessories, etc.) must purchase additional space. Vendor vehicle parking areas will be designated at time of check in.

Vendors

To insure variety and eliminate repetition, Desert Dash Rally will approve the kinds of food that will be accepted for sale at the Rally. Food vendors must list all food items for sale on application.

Insurance

All food vendors will be required to submit certification of insurance. All certification must be submitted be August 12, 2008.

Tattoo / Piercing Vendors

All vendors providing tattoo or piercing services to attendees must list so on their application and comply with all Oregon State laws, including those regarding the tattooing and piercing of minors.

Electrical Service

Electricity will be provided by the Hines City Park and is included in the flat $10 fee. Electricity is limited. Vendors must supply their own extention cords. The power source will be within 150 feet of your booth. Your UL approved cord must be no smaller than 3 wire #12 and of the "U" ground type.

Space Assignment

Every attempt will be made to place vendors in the desired space; however, Desert Dash R ally reserves the right to assign space on a first come basis, or as needed to assure proper spacing and variety to the advantage of the Rally. Vendors will not relocate or sell any merchandise outside the assigned space. You must provide your own shade, tables, & chairs. There are port-potty/bathroom facilities available.

Maintenance

No water, grease, coals or ashes will be dumped on any open area on any part of the City Park. Vendors who fail to comply will be billed at a rate $100 per hour for clean up.

Unsuitable items

The Desert Dash Rally reserves the right to, at it's sole discretion, cause any vendor or vendors to cease to sell or attempt to sell any items that in the opinion of the Rally Directors appears to be offensive to the general public, and/or items illegal for sale in the state of Oregon.

Please note the following important dates:

  • August 12, 2008 - Deadline for Vendor reservations.
  • August 12, 2008 - Deadline for all fees to be paid and paperwork, including certificate of insurance, to be submitted
  • August 15, 2008 - Vendor setup begins at 7:00 a.m.
  • August 16, 2008 - Rally hours 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • August 17, 2008 - Rally hours 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • August 18, 2008 - Rally hours 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • August 18, 2008 - Vendors must be vacated by 2:00 p.m.

 

Schedule of events/official advertising

You have the opportunity to purchase advertising space on the official Rally web site. The web site contains pertinent rally information such as the activity schedules, area information and rally-related articles. If you wish to place a sponsor ad on the web site submit this form and return it along with the required fee. Sponsorship logo ads run a flat $10.

Hold Harmless

Vendors agree to identify and hold harmless the Desert Dash Rally, Hines City Park, Beneficiary Charity, its officers, agents and employees from all claims, causes of action and suits accruing or resulting from any damage, injury or less to any person or persons, including but not limited to loss of property, goods, wares of merchandise, caused by, arising out of , or in any way connected with the vendor of the privileges herein granted.

Liability and security

The Desert Dash Rally, its Directors and its staff will not be responsible for losses of any kind, whether be fire, theft, physical violence, elements of nature or any other cause, however originating, Participants and responsible for their own merchandise and equipment, its protection and insurance.
